A Brief History
Metalúrgica Orro S.L. was established in January 2000 to satisfy the growing need for Light and medium sheet metal in the Wind Energy sector. Over the last nine years the company has grown strongly. Starting off with a workforce of 8 employees and increasing to the 70, and with a turnover near to €10 million.

Last week one of our customers presented the result of two years of research at the International Exhibition of Security Technology Sicur.
The Coruñesa Composites, Inc. a company that also is an participant oft the outsourcingSpain group, developed successful a projects in research and development of lightweight armor BR6.
Again, it was shown that the combination of two different elements: such as steel and polyester reinforced (in this case with Kevlar) gives perfect results.
Over the 2 years of the research phase, Metalúrgica Orro techniques and procedures developed for the processing of alloys.
We wish our customers the best luck with their new product, we are confident that it will be successful.
